Download the Rakning C-19 app to contribute to preventing the transmission of COVID-19 in Iceland.

Rakning C-19 is the designated digital contact tracing application for Iceland, utilizing the COVID-19 Exposure Notification system created by Apple and Google.

Upon installation and activation of Rakning C-19, your device will engage in the exchange of random Bluetooth IDs with other app users. If you have been in proximity to an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 who also uses the app, you will receive a notification prompting you on the necessary actions to take. Rest assured that both your identity and location remain concealed, ensuring anonymity for all users.

By reporting a positive COVID-19 diagnosis through the app, you can help safeguard others without revealing personal details. Notably, the app functions without tracking or retaining any location data.
